Great news from Holden Australia

Amongst the doom and gloom news of car manufacturing closing down in Australia comes a couple of terrific stories from the Holden factory.  The first is that, due to overwhelming demand, they are manufacturing an additional 100 HSV GTS Holden Maloo utes - the fastest ute in the world!  They have the same cornering abilities of the Porsche 911 and can go 0-100 km/hr in 4.5 seconds, powered by a super charged v8.

The other great story is that to commemorate Craig Lowndes' 20th year racing at the Bathurst 1000, Holden are releasing a special edition "Lowndes Commodore".  They are only making 161 of them in reference to the number of laps in the Bathurst 1000.  What a great idea and congratulations Craig!
